Optical Technologies

At the Institute of Semiconductor Electronics basic physical phenomena as well as novel materials and devices are investigated by means of optical measurement techniques. Our institute locates several fully equipped laboratories to perform experiments in the fields of:

• Femtosecond technology
• Time resolved Terahertz (THz) spectroscopy
• Integrated photonics
• Optical data storage
• Photovoltaics

Our expertises are further described at the following sites. We are participating in several national and international projects and are always interested in starting collaborations with other research groups.
